Today is International mother tongue day .... my tribute:

नेह बा तोहरा से कतना, कइसे इ बताई,
घरवा मे अनाज रहे जतना उहे तोहरे के खिआई ए बबुआ

पढ़ लिख के माइ बाबु के भले ना जोहइह,
मगर इ माटी के करजा ना तू भुलइह ए बबुआ

खोजत जा बाडअ, परदेश मे जा तू, उ ता गांव के सीवान बा,
परदेश के बंगला से नीक गांव के खेत आ खलिहान बा ए बबुआ

बोलावत बहिन के राखी गोधन , मातारी कैले हई खर जिउतिआ,
जीव बसेला तोरा मे पूरा परिवार के अब ता कहत बारन बबुआनओ ए बबुआ

गंगा किनारे के इ माटी में अतना जान बा ,
माटी के हाड मास के लोहा बा देबे के बरदान बा ए बबुआ

मकेआ बुट खा के बाबु साहेब कुंवर भईलन,
अस्सी बरस के उमर में अकेले अंग्रेजन के खदेड़लन ए बबुआ

बबुआ अभी ता हमार एकदमे जवान बा
इ माटी के करजा उतरबे तू हमार इ अभिमान बा ए बबुआ

उत्तर में शोक आतंकी के मरने का , दक्षिण में विधानसभा में आतंकी के बेटे के हत्या पर हंगामा
कड़कती ठंड में सडक किनारे बैठ के भूखा बच्चा, कहता है, अब्बा तुम को भी था आतंकवादी बन जाना

Sometime in 80s in a school
Teacher: Who is Badshah khan?
Student1/Owl: I am kid , I don't know
Student2/NaMo: Can I answer
Teacher: No

Sometime in 90s in a college
Prof: Who is Badshah khan?
Student1/Owl : I know I know .... Amit Uncle (Amitabh Bachchan) of Khuda gawah
Student2/NaMo: No ... No it was Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan also known as frontier Gandhi
Prof: (to NaMo) : Shut up Only Owl family can be Gandhi no one else.

Sometime now on some news channel
Primetime host: India want Answer Mr. Gandhi and Mr Modi! Who is Badshah khan?
Student1/Owl: I know I know .... earlier Amitabh Bachchan of Khuda gawah ..... but now he joined some BJP run state(I can't name state as that will be communal) tourism so now it is Shahrukh .... As youth of India you must upgrade your knowledge
Student2/NaMo: I have been telling it was Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan also known as frontier Gandhi) ... Amit ji is our tourism ambassador. ye baat to Gujraat ke bachche bachche ko pata hai .....
Student1/Owl: (to NaMo) : Shut up... you are communal and I am youth and juvenile .... my ancestor (read italian) fought against british. BTW who is Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, lets put his name in post  riots victim and published against you. (thinking Frontier Gandhi?!, who in our family is named frontier, if  NaMo is supporting him , it must be my cousin , he must be frontier Gandhi)

Random Number Generator for deciding Awards?

Lets Compare the 6 gr8 singers of yesteryear:

1)Lata: Bharat Ratna , Padma Vibhushan ,Padma Bhushan (no Padma Shri)
2)Rafi: Padma Shri
3)Kishore: None
4)Manna Dey: Padma Bhushan, Padma Shri
5)Mukesh: None
6)Asha: Padma Vibhushan (No Padma Shri and No Padma Bhushan)

All were gr8 and I am not raising point that who deserved what?

All I want to say is, I feel Padma Award are awarded based on Random Number generators ... I doubt if they keep records of awardees, I won't be surprise if they announced a lower award for someone who is already awarded higher award. Remember Milkha Singh was annouced Arjuna Award in 90s and Sardar Patel and Maulana Abul Kalam Azad getting Bharat Ratna in 91. Is it coincidence that India Got Freedom from Socialist Economic policy (read nehru family) in 1991 itself. After Milkha's protest of delayed award, they categorized special Category of Arjuna award called Arjuna award for life time achievement (later renamed as Dyanchand Award)

While Govt also tried to give Bharat Ratna to Neta Ji in 92, but unfortunately for Bharat Ratna awards , Netaji's family refused saying its too delayed.

Anyways All Random Numbers are generated through Pseudo Random Generator and they follow unknown algorithm and hence not random. But are they fair? Who cares!

History: Facts or Opinion?

From "Mahabharat ki ek Saanjh" by Bharat Bhushan Agarwal (based on memory not exactly word by word but meaning is intact)

Duryodhan Said to Pandava: History is always written by victors, and they write only one side of story making them heroes and others villain. The coming generation will know what you ask the historian to write and what you want them to know. Obviously you will make villain and reason for Mahabharat. Everyone knows as per rules of society in dwapar yug, I should be king, still you killed all my brother, friends and myself too, still you will remain heroes!

Shouldn't all history have view and counter view and let the reader decide what is right and wrong instead of forcing one's opinion as facts.

PS: Mahabharat is just taken as an example and there is no intention of hurting anyone's religious sentiments.
